Forest

With this collection of paintings, Jesal Dalal brings us the multi-coloured and vibrant faces of forests. On the contrary to green, brown and yellowish tones that are majorly observed in the woods, she paints them in pink, blue, violet and burgundy. She gives a personality to them so elegantly that each painting communicates the same subject in a distinct way.

The beautifully executed wash technique, which she accomplished by placing them under rain or a running tap, maintains a mystic vibe and reeks of enchantment similar to what one would feel while trekking through them. It is a calming experience to witness them.
